On September 12-17, 2022, Gdynia will host a great celebration of Polish cinema, the 47th Polish Film Festival. The Festival programme comprises of: two competition sections (Main Competition, Short Film Competition), numerous non-competition sections, as well as accompanying events.
The red patio next to the building of Gdynia Film Center on Grunwaldzki Square will become the stage for a long list of activities addressed to the inhabitants of the Tri-City and tourists visiting Gdynia.
Gdynia has joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in November 2021.
